Spotlight Series Soon-to-be Released: Contain + Train System, SportDOG’s Innovative New System

Posted on

We are too excited to wait! PetsandBeyond.com is proud to feature this soon-to-be released cutting edge product from SportDOG, the premier sporting dog company. Contain + Train will combine in-ground fencing and training capacities both in the yard and out in the field.

Imagine…

A single collar receiver

A system that combines the best of containment and training

Secure set boundaries with the ability to train your 10+ lb. dog at home and in the field

How is this different from traditional systems? According to Clay Thompson, Category Manager for SportDOG, “The Contain + Train allows users to exceed the traditional system by utilizing remote training within the In-Ground Fence boundary, as well as outside it, all while using a single Collar Receiver.”

In a sneak peak entry for our customers, here is what we know so far.

The containment mode:

  • Keeps your dog in the yard with proper training.
  • Offers 7 levels of static stimulation, plus vibration/tone choices to fit your dog’s disposition.
  • Features a Wire-break Transmitter warning
  • Includes 1,000 ft of wire plus 100 border flags.
  • Expands with additional purchase of Wire & Flag Kits allowing coverage of up to 100 acres.
  • Allows adding an unlimited number of dogs for containment mode with additional purchase of Add-A-Dog Collar Receivers.

The training mode:

  • Employs remote training within the In-ground Fence boundary as well as outside it, using a single Collar Receiver.
  • Allows training both inside the home boundary and outside while in the field
  • Features a reach of 500 yards.
  • Is completely adaptable with 7 levels of static stimulation in 3 intensity modes.
  • Includes the possibility to train with vibration and tone.
  • Increases to three dogs with purchase of additional Add-a-Dog Collar Receivers.
