This convenient outdoor pet barrier acts like an invisible fence, with one difference. Instead of keeping your pet contained within a defined area, this wireless fence system is designed to keep your pet OUT of various areas of your yard. Whether it be a beloved flower garden, a child's play area or a pool. With a Pawz Away outdoor "rock" transmitter in place, your pet will quickly learn to stay clear of whatever off-limit zone you create.

The transmitter of the outdoor invisible fence transmits a circular signal that can be adjusted to cover an area of up to 16 feet in diameter. With the receiver collar around your pet's neck, whenever your pet approaches the off-limits zone, the receiver collar will beep a warning tone to your pet. If your pet continues, the receiver collar will administer a short static correction, with the level of intensity progressing until your pet responds by staying away from the area. The static corrections are not harmful to your pet and are designed to train your pet instead of punish. With the combination of warning beeps and static correction, the receiver collar will quickly train your pet to avoid the defined boundaries.

The PetSafe wireless outdoor pet barrier's crafty rock design helps it to blend into the landscape of your yard. The system transmitter can also be used in conjunction with the PetSafe/Innotek UltraSmart in-ground fence systems and PetSafe Pawz Away Indoor Pet Barrier system, enabling you to use the same pet receiver collar without changing a thing. With additional receiver collars, you can train however many pets you have on the same system. You can also expand the system up to 150 feet with the use of boundary wire (sold separately) or add additional transmitters for other areas of your yard that you wish to keep protected from your pet.

The pet receiver collar of this wireless fence/barrier system can fit pets with neck sizes of 6-28 inches, and is perfect for pets weighing over 5 pounds. The system comes complete with an anti-linger feature, preventing your pet from draining the batteries. The system can also be used with an unlimited amount of collars (sold separately) and with other indoor and outdoor Pawz Away pet barriers.
