The CatStop Ultrasonic Cat Deterrent stops pesky cats in their tracks.  The CatStop triggers a burst of ultrasonic sound automatically when a cat is detected within 280 square feet of the device. No spray or chemicals are used. The unit operates on a single 9-volt battery.    

Note: May not deter older, hard of hearing, or one of the exotic cat breeds that have a slightly different hearing range than the average cat. Dogs may hear the ultrasonic sound of this device but will not be bothered by it as they hear on a different frequency level than cats.
