Assembles easily-no tools required just zip it up and plug it in. The heated pad is preset to a temperature that is perfect for your pets.

The Indoor Heated Kitty House Pad included with the Kitty House is designed to warm to your pet's normal body temperature of 102°F when he/she lies on the bed. When your pet is not on the bed, the heat will dissipate into the air and the surface temperature of the bed will vary based on air temperature (generally 10-15 degrees above air temperature). It will not get hot to the touch.
