Acting as a visual aid, each flag you set up helps your cat to learn the limits of your yard based on your PetSafe fence system. Although it is recommended to place no less than one flag every 5-10 feet, the more you have, the easier your pet fence training will go. As soon as your cat learns to stay within the boundaries of your electric cat fence, you can begin removing every other flag each week until gone.
